GCH and its associates have invested
in a new company
- MERI Inc. -
dedicated to technology development & commercialization of advanced
systems for ventilation automation - in consideration of CO2e
reduction requirements and evolving diesel emissions regulation
underground - there is an important rise in the energy projected for
ventilation requirements - due to increasing deep mine ore
development. The group works in association with its clients,
testing & certification authorities - with backing from Sustainable
Development Technology Canada - to deliver an advanced software
control suite to optimize energy use in underground mine operations.
Rapid user payback from:
Energy Savings via mine modeling/simulation & control of systems
site automation - safety systems - mine fleet asset management
Personnel & Vehicle tracking built into model tradable carbon

GCH presented its energy efficiency and emissions reduction
technology advancement platform to the Conference of the Parties of
the Kyoto Protocol (COP 11) in Montreal December 2006 |
Background
The first GCH company launched was presented by company director Dan
Fletcher at Cleantech 2002, San Francisco, when PrecisionH2 Inc.
introduced its CarbonSaver™ (CS) technology for producing partial
Hydrogen on site from a Natural Gas feed - the IP was substantially
acquired by AHI in 2004. http://www.cleantech.com/ GCH holds a
position on the AHI Board of Directors managing GCH's position in
the company. As a successor to the power electronics company that
initiated the CS PrecisionH2 Power Inc. was formed to develop and
prototype its inverter property - now CSA certified and being
marketed in distributed power generation settings where export of
power to the grid is needed.
The group has expertise in energy efficiency software and technology
- now bringing its management team and its network of expert and
engineering capability to mining facilities seeking to optimize
energy usage and measure/secure the corresponding carbon reduction.
